About Kalem Rodriguez:

Kalem Rodriquez has been a valued member of the Thompson Security team since 2022 and brings nearly a decade of experience in the low-voltage and security industry. As a Project Manager, Kalem is responsible for helping lead projects from the field, coordinating installations, and making sure jobs are completed efficiently and to the standards our customers expect.

One of Kalem’s greatest strengths is his ability to lead a team and keep a project moving. Low-voltage and security projects can involve many moving parts, from coordinating technicians and materials to working with customers, contractors, and other trades on the jobsite. Kalem has a strong ability to stay organized, communicate with his team, and make decisions in the field that help keep projects on schedule.

His years of hands-on industry experience give him an understanding of both the technical and operational sides of a project. Whether the job involves security, video surveillance, access control, fire and life-safety systems, or other low-voltage technologies, Kalem approaches each project with a focus on quality workmanship and efficiency.

As a leader, Kalem takes pride in setting expectations and helping the technicians working with him succeed. His ability to combine technical experience with leadership and problem-solving has made him an important part of Thompson Security’s project team.

Outside of work, Kalem is a dedicated family man who enjoys spending time with his wife and kids. When he has time away from work, he enjoys hunting, being outdoors, and taking advantage of everything New Mexico has to offer.

Kalem brings leadership, experience, and accountability to every project he manages. His commitment to running efficient jobs while maintaining quality and taking care of the customer represents the standard Thompson Security strives to bring to every installation.
